A photo-card series for HOMA Studios’ 2022 brand communication.
HOMA is a Newark, New Jersey-based ceramic studio reimagining everyday objects. Critical to the studio’s identity is its choice of material— clay sourced from a local brook. Together, we produced a photo series that celebrates the urban ecosystem to which this brook belongs, and alludes to the object’s relationship to place. The series profiles the beauty of unconventional, immigrated plant species, and all they bring to the brook’s fluid, evolving ecology.
